Experience
Hi, my name is Jules. I am a cartographer specialising in armed conflicts and humanitarian issues.
After completing my MSc in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism at UCL in London, I volunteered with the Sahel team at the International Crisis Group (ICG) in Dakar.
I now have the privilege to collaborate with esteemed organisations in the humanitarian, security, and private sectors, including the World Bank, ACLED, SIPRI, NUPI, and MENASTREAM.
My work
With four years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep-rooted understanding of the humanitarian and security sectors. Armed with a keen eye for detail and a drive to explore the intricacies of armed conflicts, political violence, and humanitarian challenges, I bring a unique perspective to my cartographic work.
I believe that maps are not mere static images; they have the power to convey insights and drive informed decision-making. By incorporating contextual analysis and providing comprehensive visual narratives, I go beyond traditional representations. My goal is to equip my clients with a deeper understanding of complex contexts, enabling them to navigate challenges with clarity and purpose.
